MO BICENTENNIAL MURAL

NHS students and staff will have the opportunity to paint on a portion of the Missouri Bicentennial Mural on Tuesday, January 28th.  This mural will be hung in the capital in Jefferson City during the Missouri Bicentennial Celebration in 2021 and will be in the Guinness Book of World Records for so many participants!  Students will have the opportunity to purchase a commemorative button for $2 as well.

 

Mural information:

 

  • When: the morning of Tuesday, January 28th
  • Where: Cafeteria
  • Who: All NHS students and staff
  • What: Barb Bailey and Aaron Horrell of the Painted Wren Gallery are coming to the school and bringing a portion of their Missouri Bicentennial Mural that students and staff will get to paint on. This mural will be hung in the capital Jefferson City during the Missouri Bicentennial Celebration in 2021, and will be in the Guinness Book of World Records for so many people participating with it, there have been over 8,500 people that have painted so far.
  • Each class will be brought to the mural and each student will paint a small portion, and head back to the classes
